Computers and network equipment in the military domain or when used in special civil circumstances must be able to take a beating. By this we mean not only the impact resistance and physical impact, but also the resistance to high or low temperatures and (air) humidity. Such equipment is specially built by the German roda computer GmbH and supplied by SurCom in the Netherlands.
