A tactical data link is a form of electronic data exchange via a connection between two or more points (which takes place according to an internationally recognized format). SurCom represents Viasat that provides specific Link-16 equipment to a number of countries in Europe. This equipment is maintained by us in the Netherlands. Viasat monitors the quality we provide. In addition to the existing Low Volume Terminals (LVTs) that go through an upgrade program, new products are also being introduced by SurCom in accordance with the ITAR regulations of the United States.
